Euro Tax?

The new EU President is allegedly trying to introduce a new EU tax. The Irish Independent quotes him as saying "The financing of the welfare state, irrespective of the social reform we implement, will require new resources," [t]he possibility of financial levies at European level needs to be seriously reviewed."

Imagine how much more mischief the bloated Brussels bureaucracy would get up to with more money!
