Blogging in Ireland

The Sunday Times has a childish piece on blogging in Ireland containing many unsustainable claims. Damien Mulley and Suzy Byrne have done a good job of exposing these here and here.

I want to restrict myself to the one sentence that the author got right: "niche subjects make for the best blogs, and that the blogger’s strength is analysing news rather than breaking it."
