Is Taoiseach Brian Cowen Overpaid?

It depends. As this chart from the Economist shows, he is certainly paid far more as a ratio of pay to GDP/person than the leaders of Britain, China and India, but not as much as those of Kenya, Indonesia and Singapore. The leader of Singapore probably deserves every penny but one wonders about Kenya and Indonesia. Manmohan Singh is definitely a very good bargain for India!
